Listed below are the teams entering national leagues in the season 2007/8. Also listed are the teams that hve entered the Allen Mezanines league Cup to be played at Soham on 1st and 2nd September 2007.
It was decided at the end of last season not to have play offs between the the top of National Div 1 and the bottom of the Premier League. As a result of this the national executive needed to decide which teams would make up next years Premier League to bring it up to nine teams. Listed below are the teams that will make up the 2007/8 Premier League.
August’s 600 club was drawn today at the National training session at the Bushfields Sports Centre in Peterborough. In addition to the monthly £150 cash prize, the ball for the quarterly £250 was picked out by NRHA’s Coaching director Carlos Amaral. The lucky winners were Nigel Allen (former Letchworth RHC) taking the £150 prize and Ricky Jupp (Bury RHC) picked up the £250.
The 2007 Allen Mezzanines League Cup will be held this year at the Ross Peers Sports Centre, Soham, Cambs over the weekend of 1st/2nd September. In conjunction with the event we will be offering courses for both new and existing referees.
Keith Allen said “We have not finalised the team entries yet but as soon as we do I will publish a programme”.

The continuation of the 2007 AGM will take place on SUNDAY 19th August at 10am at the Bushfields Sports Centre.
The spectacular Ladies European Rollerhockey Championships arrives in Alcorcon, Madrid. The best female players in Europe competing for a title in sporting history.
The website www.eurohockey07.com (with English language option) will provide information about the IX Ladies European Rollerhockey Championships which will take place from the 17th to the 23rd of September, 2007 in Alcorcon, Madrid. The website will also provide information about the area and about our club CP Alcorcon.

The sixteen clubs list below will compete in the new European League. To qualify for this prestigious competition clubs must have been 2006/7 National Champions, the winner and runner up the 2006/7 CERS Cup. The remaining teams qualify by their place on the European Clubs’ Ranking.
This new competition will commence from 20th October 2007. The draw for the European competition will be made in Madrid on 16th Sepember 2007 before the start of the Ladies European Championships in Alcorcón (Madrid) from 17 to 22 September.

HBU will have a minimum of three home and three away matches so we could see any of these big teams listed above at the pier. After the 16th September draw we will list the match dates so keep the dates free for some great International Roller Hockey here in England.
Today someone is £150 better off. The July 600 Club Draw was drawn at Sundays National Training Day. Kim Brady was given the honor of picking the winning ball from the famous 600 CLUB DRUM. Keith Allen President of the NRHA will have the pleasure of presenting the cheque to Bob Driver who won this months prize. Bob is linked to Roller Hockey through his son Jim who plays for Bury RHC.
