The game was end to end with each team matching each others goals all the way through to the last few minutes. As one of the one hundred spectators said “it could go either way”. For the spectators it was great roller hockey.

Herne Bay United hosted their 1st Round Knockout Cup match at the Pier in Herne Bay last Saturday. Letchworth came out looking to steal a surprise win from the current Premier league leaders, the boys from Hertfordshire tried to press HBU but it was obvious from the start that Letchworth were going to struggle to knock the hosts. Letchworths goalkeeper Ben Howes played a blinder saving multiple shots and he was a big influence in keeping HBU’s final score to the minimum. Final score 12-1

England 1 Switzerland 1 (half time 0-0)
Another very competitive game from our Under 17 National Team, the game we deserved to win.
First half both teams were very solid in defence trying to use the counter attack which was most of the time stopped by good defence position moving to triangle until 4th player arrived in defence. In attack the ball possession was about 50% each team which shows how close was the game.
