Roller Hockey Photos

Next weekend will see an International flavor to Roller Hockey in Herne Bay. England seniors will play Angola on 19^th May in preparation for the world championships in Montreux, Switzerland in June. The Angola team has been in training since the Coupe des Nations back in April where their match with France was a forfeit due to their goalkeeper being stretchered off and the second keeper receiving a disputed blue card (see http://www.coupedesnations.ch/photos-07/public/index.php on the “main menu” then 07-04-07)

Angola will also play Herne Bay Utd on Sunday 20^th May after the HBU v Halifax National Cup semi final match. It is hoped there will be a good attendance on Saturday evening, at the Coupe des Nations Angola played very physical matches testing the refs and giving the spectators value for money. I do enjoy their matches, even from behind the camera.
