The weekend 29th – 30th April and 1st May bank Holiday will see the National Roller Hockey Association’s Inter Regional championships 2006. Over three days 17 regional teams of ages from under 13 to under 20 from the North, East and South will compete at the Bushfields Sports Centre, Orton Hay, Peterborough. Congratulations to Kings Lynn, the 2006 Jubilee Cup Winners. Last Sunday (9th April 2006) saw Kings Lynn triumphant over Herne Bay Utd in the final of this years Jubilee Cup. Over the whole day teams from Peterborough, Herne Bay United, Ely, Cambridge, Letchworth Bury and Kings Lynn battled for the annual prestigious award first awarded in 2002, the year of Queen Elizabeth II golden Jubilee.
Previous winners of the Cup have been Cambridge 2002, North Eastern Region 2003, North Eastern Region 2004 and Cambridge in 2005.
